I’ve designed and implemented several websites using PHP, JavaScript and JSON to display the information obtained from weather stations based at several locations. I also wrote the software used to actually query multiple Weather Stations and store the data in a MySQL database.
This solution is used by several large ferry companies and used to ensure the safety of the vessels and passengers by allowing them to observe the conditions at the destination port before and during the vessels passage.
Airport Weather System
This system interfaces with the various sensors in use at the airfield and provides both a live and historical display of the conditions.
